Legnolandia
For four generations Legnolandia has been processing wood from the forests of the Dolomites in Friuli and those of Carnia; wood, that raw material that captures “CO 2”, storing it in its products and converting it to oxygen for our planet. Legnolandia is a company with a history in the industry that aggregates experiences and professional figures pooled from the top European companies. Thanks to the ongoing research of innovative solutions, to the evolved design of constructional systems and to exclusive geometries, it is capable of designing and developing complex structures when it comes to features and size.
The geographical localization and nature of the company’s business have influenced the development of a special environmental sensitivity that distinguishes its processes and products: as a matter of fact, Legnolandia uses polyurethane-based glues free of formaldehyde and ecological impregnating agents that guarantee a product that remains unaltered over time and that is compatible with any constructional requirement. The company is moreover certified TÜV Italia, in accordance with the Quality System UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 and the Environmental Management System UNI EN ISO 14001:2004, and has obtained the double certification of the Chain of Custody PEFC and FSC.
The manufacturing centers located in the forests of Friuli Venezia Giulia guarantee the procurement of the essential resource, wood, within a reach of zero kilometers. The thermal and electrical energy used in the manufacturing processes is obtained directly from the natural resources present on site (plant that runs on biomass and that uses processing scraps, municipal hydroelectric power plants and photovoltaic plants), adding a further “eco-friendly” quality to the products.
Legnolandia collaborates directly with many partners in Friuli Venezia Giulia and in Veneto who operate in the sectors of wood processing, production of X-Lam and the processing of forest products of Northeast Italy. Thanks to these joint-ventures, Legnolandia’s offer covers the entire production chain of structural wood.
